Why I chose to practice Ayurveda
My own personal experience of suffering with IBS and the Ayurvedic treatment I received has led me to believe that Ayurveda has huge potential in the modern world to relieve unnecessary suffering.
What I love about Ayurveda is the fundamental principle that to eliminate disease we must address its root cause (as well as treating the symptoms). Only by addressing the root cause can we find lasting good health and the knock-on positive effect this has on every aspect of our life.
After a career in the charity sector, I completed my Diploma in Ayurvedic Nutrition and Massage Therapist training at the Ayurveda Institute UK in 2015. I completed my Advanced Practioner qualification in March 2019. I'm a member of the Complementary Medical Association and the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals UK.
